My Top 5 Concealers

FullSizeRender-2

Let’s all face it, Under Eye Circles, Blemishes, Redness and Acne Scars are not our friends. Lucky we can invest in some good concealers to specifically tackle these problems to help give us a flawless finish! So, today I am going to share my top five concealers that I absolutely LOVE and cannot live without.

Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer (SK08) – £38

This is a thick, full-coverage concealer, although the texture is very thick, it is very creamy. If this is in the wrong hands in can be applied like a cake face, so a tiniest amount is needed and the key is to BLEND, BLEND, BLEND for a flawless finish.

This product is quite expensive, however a little really does go a long way. What I LOVE about this product is that it is versatile and can be used as a foundation by mixing it up with your moisturiser and it will give you an AMAZING finish!

This is my more fancy product where I only really wear on special occasions where I want my skin to look radiant, fresh & flawless.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer (Medium) -£7.99

This is a super pigmented liquid concealer combined with goji berry and haloxyl to help erase the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.

I use this product under my eyes as well as on dark marks on my skin and it works wonders! It comes with a spongy applicator at the end which is very unique. I love this product so much that I am on my fourth tube.

It does a decent job of concealing my fine lines, darkness, puffiness, and fatigue. It has all the things I look for in a concealer and would definitely recommend it.  The only downside of this product is that it only comes in two shades light and medium.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer (NC30) – £15.50

I have had this concealer for a year now and I have nearly hit pan on this product and I pretty much use it everyday, so defiantly good value for money.

This is one of my holy grail product and the magic behind my flawless complexion. Let me tell you a little bit about my skin I had really bad acne 4 years ago and still have a few scars left on my cheeks and this concealer covers it perfectly.

The consistency is very creamy, I get the product in my hand and rub it in between my finger tips to warm the product up and then gently pat it on to my blemishes. If set with a powder the lasting power is AMAZING!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Medium) – £4.19

FullSizeRender[1]

This has been popular in the Blogger world and I can totally understand why. It claims to be waterproof and conceals blemishes and dark circles for up to 16 hours, I agree with all of these statements except I haven’t worn it for 16 hours to really know if it lasts this long.

I would definitely pay twice the amount for this product, it is so good and amazingly covers all blemishes and under eye circles. It has a creamy texture making it easier to blend. It is undoubtedly one of the most long-lasting matte-finish concealers i’ve used to date and carry it round my bag with me for touch ups.

Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick (Warm Beige)  – £21.00

Bobbi Brown’s Face Touch Up Stick is like a mini foundation it is creamy and provides a medium to full coverage. I would not use this under the eye area but it is perfect to use on any other areas of your face.

It sets to a semi-matte finish. I usually set it with some loose/ compact powder to make it last on the skin. I have used this alone as a foundation rather than a concealer.

I am in love with the packaging it is so sleek and easy to carry around.

Thanks for reading! xx
