August has flown by so fast…it’s been a crazy summer filled with happy holiday memories. Here is a list of my August favourites, I don’t have a lot to share this month as I have been going make up free.
I absolutely love this brush….it’s amazing! It blends my liquid foundation so well on to my skin leaving me with such a flawless base. I have tried a lot of foundation brushes from Mac to Real Techniques but none of them have applied my make up aswell as the Sigma F80 Kabuki! It’s definitely a product that I cannot live without. The beauty of this product is that it does not leave my skin with any cracks or streaky lines on the face and it just blends on to the skin so well. The bristles are so incredibly dense and I have not experienced any fall out bristles, which is a big bonus!
This is the perfect brush to blend my concealer, I use this for under my eyes and any small spots I may have. It blends really easily around any scars I have, it’s super easy and evenly to blend.
The product itself is dual – ended one side is a thin felt pen and the other side is a crayon. I have the shade ‘Brownie Points’ which is perfect for my black eyebrows. I use the crayon to lightly define my brows and use the tint to give it a more fuller look. What I like about this product is that the crayon is nice and soft and not too harsh which is perfect for natural looking brows.
.The formula itself is really waxy and creamy, but I don’t personally mind it. It warms quickly and easily between your fingers and this makes the application process a lot easier. I have been using this alone to cover any redness and marks I may have and finish of with the powder for a flawless finish. It is super lightweight and doesn’t look cakey, which is something I really hate. It is a decent under eye concealer, it gives a good coverage and doesn’t sink into any lines. I use this with either my fingers or my Zoeva 142 concelaer brush. It is worth the money!
This is such a beautiful highlighter! One is a peach tone whereas the other is a golden tone, I use this to highlight aswell as an eyeshadow it is so versatile. It has been perfect for the summer month gives my skin the perfect glow! I gently use this with my finger and swipe it on to my highlighting points. I also use it wet as an eyeshadow it gives it an intense look! This is a perfect everyday highlight.
L’oreal True Match Foundation – £9.99
This foundation has a silky texture and matte & luminous finish. It gives my skin a natural finish, it is super lightweight and I would say it is a light to medium finish. It comes with a pump dispenser which is perfect, I hate when foundations don’t come with one such as Nars! I would say that this foundation lasts really well on the skin, I don’t really need do any touch ups which i a bonus. Another great thing about this foundation is it has a good colour match especially for an indian girl.
This is such a moisturising product for my lips. I have dry lips all year, I find this does the job in keeping them moisturised. The best thing is that it has no greasy feeling to it, like some lip products do and I have tried a lot of lip balms. Goodbye to dry chapped lips.
This is a TV Programme that I have been hooked to this month! It is available to watch on Netflix! Without giving anything away, it is about a women who witnesses another women committing suicide who happens to look just like her (doppelgänger) who goes on to steal her identity, but wishes she didn’t!
Thanks for reading! xx
